Flower Card

I came upon the weekly sketch section at Splitcoast Stampers the other day and I just had to take part in it; Sketch Challenge 321 which featured a blocked design.

Here's my take on it:

As you can see, I took one of the elements from Meghan Mullens' newest kit that comes out tomorrow and used my Silhouette SD on it; it cut out beautifully!  I simply cannot imagine crafting without that machine anymore.

I created this card using the MOJO179 Sketch, Jennifer Fox Designs' newest kit that will be out tomorrow at 9th and Bloom called My Best Friend, and Doilie Shape Set 1 from The Cutting Files, which I cut using my Silhouette SD.

2/18 Sneaks and Peeks

I've got a lot for you to look at here today, so be prepared!

Next up is a fantastic kit from Meghan Mullens and Libby Prichett called Don't Stop Believing and it'll be available tomorrow at Sweet Shoppe Designs.  I made a layout with it about Nathan's love for Kids Bop 18.    I love how it turned out.

Valentine's Day Cards for Preschool

Somewhere, someone I know found something similar to this online and shared it with me.  Isn't this the coolest valentine card idea?!  All you have to do is take the photograph, cut two slits in it near the hand, and slide the sucker in.  Brilliant!

I chose to add some hearts and words to the photo before I sent it to the printer using Lauren Grier and Kristin Cronin-Barrow's 'Be Mine' kit available at Sweet Shoppe Designs, but you could definitely leave it blank and still get an awesome card!

Valentine's Treat Tag FREEBIE!

My boys went and stayed with my in-laws this past weekend and a bag of Oreos was sent home with them.

I didn't want to eat any of them (although I really, really wanted to!) so I dipped them in some Wilton Chocolate Melts and sprinkled some Wilton Valentine Sweetheart Sprinkles on them.

After they hardened back up, I put them in some Cellophane Chocolate Candy Bags, added some ribbon, and then made some circle treat tags for them, of which I've included HERE as a pdf download for you.

Just print them out and attach them how you'd like to your special treat.  Easy peasy!
