It's Been Awhile

Wow the past few weeks have really flown by.  The weather has started to get nice and the boys and I find ourselves outside playing in the yard or taking a walk almost everyday.  Of course, today it's a little cooler out so we probably won't go out.

Onto my scrapbook-related items....Jennifer Fox Designs released Whisper of Spring today at The Digichick.

It's chock full of blues, browns, pinks, and greens.  I just love it!  I made some really adorable paper flowers with it:

They would be perfect for an embellishment on a card or even on top of a gift!  I added some stickles to give it some sparkle - aren't they pretty?  I used a tutorial from HERE to make them.

I also made a layout with the kit and think it was just perfect for the photo I had of Nathan and Anthony.

Oh and one more thing - Jennifer is having a CT call!  Get your apps in - you only have until tomorrow!

Happy scrapping!

Journaling reads: Deciding to be a stay-at-home mom has been one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life. Working in the office has it’s benefits but they are nothing compared to raising our children in our own home. I do realize that lots of families are not as fortunate to be able to do such a thing and I thank God everyday for this blessing.

Back to my regularly scheduled Monday....

Pretty Box

Krisi's Kreations has the cutest box template available today at Scrap Matters.  It's called Not Straight Up: Hybrid Boxes and this is what I came up with using Smitten by Kathy Winters Designs at Scrappity-Doo-Dah.  I could see making these for a shower favor and sticking a little treat inside - I think the guests would just love it!
So head on over to Scrap Matters and pick it up!

A Minute This Monday

Well, I've got a minute or two to post some of my latest schtuff ... most of it's from my February Portfolio for Sweet Shoppe.  February was just as much fun as January was!

This was a hybrid album I made with 10 of my favorite pictures of Nathan and Anthony.  I really like how it turned out.  It was the first time I've ever used a chipboard album before - Michael's has them in the $1 section - you cannot beat that!  I used Heather Roselli and AC Bleser's Hope Springs Eternal kit along with some extra ribbon I had in my stash and chipboard stickers for the numbers.

This layout I created for the Log Your Memory Week # 8 Challenge.  I was inspired by a board book that we got for Anthony from the library.
Misty Cato - Adoration, Sadie and Her Sisters
Shawna Clingerman and Fee Jardine - Craftapalooza
Traci Reed, Krystal Hartley, Eva Kipler, Melissa Bennett - Oh So Pretty
Eva Kipler - It's All Good
Traci Reed - Hip to Be, Be the Change
Dani Mogstad - Chill Out
Lauren Grier - That Love Thing
Julie Billingsley - Frostbite

I scrapped a collection I have - well, actually that I share with the boys - crayons!
Craftapalooza - Fee Jardine & Shawna Clingerman
Coloring Outside the Box Wordart - Kathy Winters Designs
Template 97 freebie by Timounette

This layout - You at Four - was for a Log Your Memory Challenge.  I asked Nathan some questions and these were his replies.  So cute!
Gina Cabrera - Snow Day
Hope Springs Eternal - Heather Roselli and AC Bleser
Fonts - Darcy Baldwin - Gimme Space, Eras Light, Starbabe HMK, Century Gothic

Finally, this one was for another Log Your Memory Sweet Talk Challenge and I love how it turned out.  This is just perfect for Nathan and really it's him on an everyday basis!
For Log Your Memory Sweet Talk Challenge #11
Word Snippets - Lauren Grier
Every Life Has a Story - The DigiChick Collab
Look at Me - Misty Cato

Happy Scrapping everyone!
