Valentine's Treat Tag FREEBIE!

My boys went and stayed with my in-laws this past weekend and a bag of Oreos was sent home with them.

I didn't want to eat any of them (although I really, really wanted to!) so I dipped them in some Wilton Chocolate Melts and sprinkled some Wilton Valentine Sweetheart Sprinkles on them.

After they hardened back up, I put them in some Cellophane Chocolate Candy Bags, added some ribbon, and then made some circle treat tags for them, of which I've included HERE as a pdf download for you.

Just print them out and attach them how you'd like to your special treat.  Easy peasy!

The Hybrid Chick Caravan

I'm very excited to be participating in the newly created Hybrid Chick Caravan at The Hybrid Chick!

The first stop on the caravan is Taylored Expressions for the sketch - Sketch #121.  This was my take on the sketch using Pixel Gypsy's Funky Munky kit:

Wow, I made it!  After last week I didn't think I wanted to even attempt making a mini-kit for this week's contest but alas I pulled through and did it!  This week we got to pick our own color scheme and do what we wanted with it.  My kit has 7 papers and 10 elements.  Links are below.  Thanks so much!

Another Freebie!

Here is my week #2 mini kit for the Brownie Scraps contest.  We were to choose a song that inspired us to create a kit and I chose Kokomo by The Beach Boys. I'm in need of some warm weather - aren't you?

Keep in mind it's only the second kit I've ever made.  I had fun with it but I'm tired and glad I'm done for the week!  There are 7 papers and 13 elements.

A Mini Kit for You!

I joined the design contest at Brownie Scraps this month and this is what I came up with.  Please be advised this is my first-ever time designing anything!  It was reassuring to know that I wasn't the only newbie trying my hand at this.  I have to say that the others that have posted so far are absolutely wonderful!  I had a good time with it and hope you like it.  I named it after one of my favorite 80's movies - Can't Buy Me Love - with the wonderful McDreamy - before his McDreamy days.  :)  Download links are provided below.
